The days are longer and brighter. Fewer showers and fog, more sunlight and birdsong. A mockingbird sings outside day and night, imitating the calls of many other birds in the neighborhood. Got news about the CAT scan from the doc at the Wed. infusion. He said there's improvement-- the cloudy nodules in my lungs are gone, no new spread of cancer cells, and the spots in my liver have not grown. After two months of chemo and antibodies, it seems my body is responding to treatment. Not the best news possible, but progress. He's ( Read more... )

It's bright and sunny today, warm beams angling through the blinds across the wood floor of the living room. (sorry, snowbound buds) Hoody is napping, Kipper just came in the back door, announcing his arrival with his usual proud voice. The cala lilies are in bloom.
